Four legged baby born

A baby has been born with four legs at the Lebowakgomo hospital outside Polokwane on Thursday night.

Provincial health department spokesperson Phuthi Seloba said this was a rare case. 'This is a very strange case. In the past 10 years in this province we've never seen such a case,' Seloba said. The condition of being born with extra limbs, known as 'polymelia', is rare among both humans and animals.
