SA youth have identified Billabong as the best fashion label, Billabong SA said. The surf brand topped heavyweights such as Lacoste, Puma, Levi's, Nike and Adidas according to the 2007 Sunday Times Generation Next youth survey.
'The tagline “Only a surfer knows the feeling!” perfectly encapsulates Billabong's vision to inspire the youth through the clean, healthy and free-living surfing lifestyle and values,' the company said.
FIN24 notes that the annual survey tracks consumption behaviour of young South Africans, who make up 53% of the country's population.
